FOUR WEEKS OLD
The Review is now 4 issues deep, any further & this will be the longest online publication I’ve ever maintained. Let me thank each and every one of you for your continued support & attention of my writing, it means a lot to have a platform to share my work.
On that note, working alongside those around me I find myself taking more steps to be honest & authentic to my values. "I work to build a community and prioritize honesty and authenticity in line with my values.
This is no longer just a hobby, but a serious effort to build and define my brand. Artists, explorers, founders, writers, and developers who seek to make something from their passions are welcome to join me on this journey like becoming the hero. After all, "I have only seen further by standing on the shoulders of giants."
If you’d like to speak more, make suggestions to improve my work, or collaborate on something feel free to reach out to me at nootquestions@gmail.com, AskNoot on Twitter or Tiktok, down below or in DMs! All correspondence is greatly appreciated & I generally churn all messages within every week.

The Decision Is Yours…
If you’ve not explored Greek Mythology or haven’t heard of Sisyphus, tap into the quick “WTF is…?” thread I whipped up in anticipation of The Review.
If not, basically Sisyphus is a king from the modern-day equivalent of the Grecian city of Corinth & he twice tricked the gods for a longer life. Known as a successful but ruthless king, his tricks and cunning earned him a punishment equal to his escapades, rolling a rock up a hill each day for all eternity.
Many philosophers, artists, writers, thinkers of all kinds painted this in that same light, of punishment & despair in the name of the gods.
But Albert Camus’ The Myth of Sisyphus tells a different tale, one I’ve thought about many times since my first telling of the story. Camus' writing shares Sisyphus as the Hero, the one who chose his will & beat the gods. Plato establishes him as “the most cunning of men”, which rings to his decisions & life before being punished to the eternal task.

Why must we imagine this unreasonable punishment, this inconceivable eternity for Sisyphus to be… HAPPY? I’ve asked these questions & thought it through many times, but Camus has this to say:
I leave Sisyphus at the foot of the mountain! One always finds one's burden again. But Sisyphus teaches the higher fidelity that negates the gods and raises rocks. He too concludes that all is well. This universe henceforth without a master seems to him neither sterile nor futile. Each atom of that stone, each mineral flake of that night filled mountain, in itself forms a world. The struggle itself toward the heights is enough to fill a man's heart. One must imagine Sisyphus happy.
I interpret this as him exemplifying Sisyphus becoming that Hero in his story.
The Decider.
In every step of his life, Sisyphus decided his fate.
Despite the conditions he found himself, Sisyphus decided his outcome.
Even when the gods enact his punishment for ever, Sisyphus is pushing the rock up the hill day-in, day-out.
Enduring his journey.
Deciding his path.

MonkeDAO’s Art Upgrade
Just kidding, the DAO’s dropping a collection! With this recent development, the SolanaMonkeyBusiness devs might lose out on more of those sweet, sweet royalties. Returning to the new collection, this is quite the move. Lower entry for newcomers, fun new art & growing the MonkeDAO brand all while generating some funds for DAO initatives - what’s not to love?

Artists are already helping improve the designs by offering suggestions for future revisions, despite excitement over recent announcements in the ecosystem. SOL-based pixel artists like Zen0m & Marculino helped provide quality alternatives alongside these comments as well, once again proving the Solana community’s deep sense of collectivism & understanding of the greater good.
What do you think of the new collection? Let me know in the comments or replies.

Elon’s Twitter - Hatching Eggs or Taking a 💩?
In the recent past I haven’t been one to read a random writer’s thread but Nook’s caught my eye, especially after hearing about Elon’s recent discussions towards Content Creation with Mr. Beast’s support.
Mr. Beast, as a content king, values monetization and sees potential in Twitter as a medium. With its focus on text, it could rival Substack and Reddit and cater to writers, authors, memers, and video creators. In 6-12 months, Twitter could become a major competitor to other social media platforms.
As a creator on Twitter, I’ll be keeping an eye out.
Are You the Hero?
Going back to Sisyphus’ legend, we all have decisions to make. Daily, and forever. Are you letting your will guide your path? Or are the gods of your world or the deciders around you choosing the path for you? I have recognized this as a struggle for myself in the past. I’ve perceived with despair instead of with pride, with sorrow instead of happiness.
But I know what I want, what I will to be.
I am the Hero. Him the Decider, that is ME.
Are you the Hero of your story?
